The organizers of Startup Port Harcourt Week, an annual gathering of tech startups, technologists, academics, funders, policy makers and players in Nigeria’s creative and digital sector, have today announced a timeline of events and activities to mark the fourth edition of the conference. Startup Port Harcourt Week serves as a platform for individuals and organizations to integrate, reintegrate, and harness opportunities in Nigeria’s tech space.
The theme for this year’s conference is From Oil to Tech – Preparing for the Future. A series of activities have been scheduled to publicize the conference including three roadshows that will be held on strategic dates approaching the start of the event and a theme song composed by one of the many volunteers.
The schedule for the pre-conference is provided below:
August 21st: 1st roadshow
September 20th: 2nd roadshow
October 14th – 18th: Innovation Tour
October 19th: 3rd roadshow
This year, Startup Port Harcourt Week will be held from October 20th – 26th with a variety of activities that are aimed to inspire, celebrate, and promote conversations that will in turn lead to the growth of Port Harcourt’s creative and digital economy. The program of events have been designed with different sectors of the creative and digital economy in mind with activities to connect and engage stakeholders.
